Astral Projection

Sorry I have been sorta slacking lately, been a little sick, but not nearly as much as everyone else has been.  Today I bring another post for those folks that have been Trance deprived lately (sorry).

"Astral Projection is an [early pioneering] electronic musical group producing psychedelic trance and goa trance music based in Israel. Its current members are Avi Nissim and Lior Perlmutter."  A great early album is Trust in Trance 3 (1996), containing the famous Kabalah, and their newest release is Open Society EP(2010).

Cosmosis

I couldn't stay away, followers! One video today. Thanks for reading!

"Cosmosis is an electronic music project, specifically Goa Trance. Personnel originally consisted of Bill Halsey and Jeremy van Kampen for the first album: Cosmology, widely regarded as a classic in the Goa Trance genre. Subsequent albums from and including "Synergy" lean towards the less melodic but more complex PsyTrance sound, and were produced by Bill Halsey only." One of the pioneers of Goa / PsyTrance, is not extremely repetitive and includes a more melodic touch. One track from the first album and a track from his last (so far) from 2009.

Space Buddha

Some more Psytrance, if you dont like this genre... well, ignore most of the Trance posts. Its the majority of what I listen to in the Trance genre.

"Space Buddha is Eliad Grundland (age 34), this project was created in the year 1997 & since then had released six powerful albums." Space Buddha is cosmic "Full-On" (AKA from now on as Melodic Psytrance), which in turn makes it more danceable, if you will.

Cyber Cartel

Cyber Cartel is Psytrance from Israel (which is where this genre branched from Goa and became popular and still is today). This artist has more of a fusion of "normal" Trance and Psytrance, which makes it easier to pick up. Psytrance and Darkpsy is a more acquired taste and this in my opinion helps bridge the gap. Check it out!

Bamboo Forest

Some nice Psytrance from France, the name comes from the famous Bamboo Forest in Vagator, Goa. Goa, India is where Goa Trance (essentially Psytrance) became popular!

Good Morning:

Atmos

Atmos is known as one of the artists who introduced minimal trance in the early 2000's. A slower, but way more friendly psytrance if you will. It's very calming and would be a cool game soundtrack. Hope you like this break from the metal, trance fans :)

A recent find (just today in fact!), very enjoyable Psytrance. One of the more original sounds in the genre, check it out:
